It's the time for taking some time off to spend with my family, I just wanted to pop in to say that I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS Please email me with your address:

Thanks everyone for entering! Happy weekend!

....from one of my lovely long-term sponsors The Minimalist.  At the risk of sounding biased, this is one of my favourite web-shops out there.  Their collection is beautifully considered and beautifully presented. So today to celebrate the festive season, The Minimalist have offered one of Kristina Kroghs stunning new wall calendars (On my wish list too!).  To enter, please leave a comment telling me where it would live... along side something else maybe?  This giveaway is open for one week.  The winner will be picked on Friday 20th December.  Good luck my lovely readers!

These images landed in my mailbox this morning.  I love those very beautiful Amaryllis (my favourite winter flower) especially in those on-trend colours of deep red and pink. I have some in white, I'm now going to go and get some in that deep red! Just beautiful.

This beautiful image is part of the Blackout collection by Dan Holdsworth.  A breathtaking snippet of the landscape in the worlds most raw, inspirational and beautiful country, Iceland. I've been told many times by photographers that shooting in Iceland is just a dream - I believe it (and I'm not being biased!!).

My long-time sponsor Vuela who is based in southern California has some gorgeous new pieces in and believe me I want it all! Take advantage of the free shipping (in the US) and stock up on some christmas pressies. You will be spoilt for choice. Happy Friday lovely people :)

Yes I'm drawn to shiny, beautiful objects and right now I'm in love with many things in Brass and Gold. How are you getting on with plans for christmas? I am really busy with the shop, Christmas orders are coming in thick and fast which is wonderful. Have you started making your home look festive yet? I am going to start on Sunday and I can't wait! Must dash, coffee date with my lovely Swedish friend Maria :)

A bathroom designed to have a Swedish feel in Kensignton, Sydney.  I'm in love with the details in this bathroom, the black planked wall especially; it's just perfect.
