They look lovely - I'd put them in my bathroom on the space that was created when my cabinet fell off the wall and nearly hit me on the head the other week! It's looking a bit empty now.

ReplyDeleteI was admiring these butterflies a few days ago when you posted about them! They look amazing, and I would love to have a few in my home! We are moving into a new home soon, and I can picture the butterflies there, between two large windows on an empty wall. They'd be beautiful :)

A couple of weeks ago I printed a butterfly on vellum, cut it out, and pinned it on my office inspiration board below a handprinted "G R A T I T U D E". I would put the butterflies above my inspiration board where I can watch their shadows change as I work... and of course they would keep the other butterfly company :)

ReplyDeleteI would put them in my kid's room. We are redecorating house at the moment so she will get the sunnyest room in our hose, I think that this butterflys will add just the perfect shine, and girly detail for her first bedroom ever :)
My daughter loves butterflies, she would be very happy to have them in her new room.

My 6-year-old son studied minibeasts at school during his last school term, and is currently obsessed with all manner of bugs, so I'd put them on the wall above his bed. I am sure he'd love them.

beautiful pieces! i would love to make a chance to win these. I think i wouldn't put them in MY home, but in my sister's new home. She just moved out of my parents house and is living on her own for the very first time. I would love to surprise her with this beautiful decoration!

ReplyDeleteThese butterflies are ingenious! I would hang them next to my bed. There's a big window going the length of my bed-side, and the light would feature these reflection/shadow butterflies perfectly.

I live in an old wooden house build in 1920. It has windows that are 2 meters high and I've been searching for something to put in the space between them and I think these would fit perfectly. Would be a nice thing to look at first thing in the morning.

Beautiful ~ especially the shadows they make when the wind gently lifts the wings in what I imagine a truly beautiful setting ~ like my back porch which overlooks my vegetable garden. It's a peaceful setting which includes a beautiful hammock and many houseplants along with paintings from my travels. This magical porch is where I realize how truly wonderful nature really is. The shapes, shadows and wonderful lines of the butterflies would add a whimsical element to a truly cherished space.
